Worked as part of a team, making the set backdrop for a fundraising gala for the Helen Bamber Foundation. The event was to raise funds and awareness around the issues faced by refugees in the UK and the work that the charity does to support them, using a technique called Narrative Exposure Therapy to help clients overcome the psychological impact of trafficking and torture.
I assisted with making the woll wall-carpets, which were made communally to resemble the therapy's collective weaving together of individual narratives.
